How We Rate
We evaluate lenders using transparent criteria focused on speed, accessibility, and fair terms—so you can find a loan partner suited to your situation.
Our Rating Methodology
At 24/7 Bad Credit Loans, we connect borrowers across Canada with licensed lenders who specialize in fast e-transfer funding. Our ratings reflect how well each lender serves people with all credit situations, including those rebuilding their credit history.
We do not rate lenders on a single dimension. Instead, we assess multiple factors that matter to real borrowers seeking quick access to funds:
Key Rating Factors
- Speed of funding (e-transfer delivery)
- Credit flexibility
- Transparency of terms
- Customer service availability
- Loan amount range
- Repayment flexibility
Speed & Availability
We prioritize lenders who deliver e-transfers quickly—ideally same-day or within hours. We verify that lenders operate 24/7 or offer extended hours, since financial emergencies don't follow a 9-to-5 schedule. We also check whether a lender serves your province and meets local regulatory requirements.
Credit Flexibility
A core mission of 24/7 Bad Credit Loans is connecting borrowers with lenders who welcome all credit situations. We rate lenders higher when they explicitly accept applicants with poor credit, no credit history, or recent credit challenges. We look for lenders who focus on income and ability to repay rather than credit score alone.
Transparency & Fair Terms
We examine whether lenders clearly disclose interest rates, fees, repayment schedules, and loan terms before you apply. Lenders that hide costs or use unclear language score lower. We favor those who explain what you'll owe and when, without surprise charges.
Customer Service
We assess the quality and availability of support. Can you reach a representative by phone, email, or chat? Do they answer questions clearly? Are they licensed and regulated? Lenders with responsive, knowledgeable support rank higher in our ratings.
Loan Amounts & Flexibility
We consider the range of loan amounts each lender offers and whether they allow flexible repayment terms. Lenders that work with borrowers to find manageable payment schedules score better than those with rigid, one-size-fits-all terms.
What We Do Not Rate On
We do not rate lenders based on:
- Guaranteed approval. No lender can guarantee approval for every applicant. We avoid lenders who make this false claim.
- Lowest rates. While we note interest rates, we do not assume the lowest rate is always best—context matters. A slightly higher rate from a transparent, fast lender may serve you better than a complex offer elsewhere.
- Affiliate commission. Our ratings are not influenced by how much a lender pays us. We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly (see our Affiliate Disclosure).
- Brand size or reputation alone. A smaller, specialized lender may score higher than a large bank if they better serve borrowers with bad credit and offer faster e-transfers.
How We Verify Information
Our editorial team, led by Steven Love, regularly reviews lender websites, terms of service, and customer feedback. We verify that lenders hold proper licenses and comply with provincial lending regulations across Canada. We test application processes and confirm e-transfer delivery times where possible.
We update our ratings as lenders change their terms, service levels, or availability. If a lender's service declines or they stop serving certain provinces, we adjust their rating or remove them from our recommendations.
Your Role in the Process
Our ratings are a starting point. We encourage you to:
- Read each lender's full terms before applying.
- Compare interest rates, fees, and repayment schedules across multiple lenders.
- Ask questions if anything is unclear.
- Check that the lender is licensed in your province.
- Never share personal information until you are confident in the lender's legitimacy.
